Receive 26 copies of ‘The ABCs of AI’ as softcover, printed, physical books for a school or classroom. Lesson plans, activities, and other resources are also included as digital downloads to help aid class delivery and understanding. As an optional bonus: if the school is located in Sydney (NSW), you can opt-in to have author and scientist, Steven HK Ma visit the school to read the books to a classroom and run a lesson on AI and prompt engineering. If the school/library/other institution is remote, the session can be conducted as a lesson via Zoom.

Each copy contains two books:

  • The ABCs of AI, written by Steven HK Ma, illustrated by Midjourney with prompt engineering by Steven HK Ma, translated by Julia Schafer (German), Jennifer Sin (Chinese)
  • The ABCs of AI, written by ChatGPT, illustrated Midjourney using ChatGPT prompts, translated by Google Translate. Only lightly edited by Steven HK Ma.

The books feature:

  • Simple explanations for Artificial Intelligence terms from letters from “M is for Machine Learning” to “J is for Junction Tree Algorithm”
  • English, German, Chinese, Spanish,

See a stunning range of images produced by an experienced prompt engineer – from marble sculptures to photorealistic robots, to pictures evoking Rembrandt to Gaugin. The books seek to represent a diversity of children – ranges of ages, abilities, ethnic backgrounds, religions and gender identities. It represents a good selection of the capability of what is possible as of Sep 2023 Midjourney version 5.2, with the default settings.
